This assignment is awesome. We basically have no restrictions, we’re just trying to create something abstract. It’s a self portrait and we have to use line and color to represent ourselves. I got to totally let loose and not worry about an accurate representation of myself and instead got into the abstract. This also goes with the other abstract self portrait, I’m thinking of doing one really ugly and busy and crazy, and this one much more tame and pretty. But I’m not entirely sure what direction these are going, and that’s ok too.
